risograph printer Branding for the Re(writing) &amp; Re(righting) Teaching and Learning Conference 2023.&nbsp;This year the conference explored and invited contributions towards a re(writing) of art and design education and a re(righting) of excluded perspectives that have fallen outside of the dominant ways of knowing, being, doing and imagining in the teaching and learning practices. The conference was a space for activism, actionism and most importantly positioned care at the centre of the conversations.

Byte is a play on words of the measuring unit of digital memory and also food consumption. The project started off with a “Food For Your Thought” workshop that gathered responses of food memories and stories from the target audience. As this project is a work in progress, the next step is translating the stories into short 30 second films as part the ‘MEMORY BYTE’ series. and the imagery will be made in to a publication.&nbsp; publication that was designed for Yorkshire and Humber Visual Arts Network. It highlights lived experiences, through art and wrtiting, showing a sector snapshot of a diverse set of creatives operating in the region. It follows the handmade processes of Jewellery and Metalwork students and combines illustrations with wire sculptures on risograph print, accompanied by quotes by&nbsp;Jeff Durber, the senior Jewellery and Metal work tutor.
